Cycling plans
The Fred has come and gone (at walking pace on Hardknott ;-). I had my first time trial ever last Wednesday (Circuit of Coniston). Cracking course.
White Rose Classic is approaching fast. It's next Sunday. The weather forecast is looking good.
I had planned to ride my first Audax of the year the following week-end around the lanes of Lancashire but I will give it a miss. It's father's day and the club run will give me same level of enjoyment on the very same roads.
I am planning to do more of the extended commutes to the Jubilee Tower, Dolphinholme. Early start, empty roads, nice steep climb to wake up the legs and outstanding views. I love it.
Then I will ride the Dunwich Dynamo (19-20 July) again. I should be fun. Let's hope for a clear sky, tailwind without any downpour.
Finally I will carry on with the club runs, may be do one or two local 10mile time trials before September, ride the Bowland 200, try again going with the club's Thursday evening chaingang.
